Syrah from the southernmost point of Africa

There are a number of factors that lead to Land's End Cape Agulhas's unique expression of Syrah. The 2020 vintage was recently awarded 94 points at the IWC (International Wine Challenge) with judges describing the wine as "Lots going on with ripe raspberries, red cherry, pepper, mocha, hints of cedar, fine and elegant, integrated tannins with very long, classy, floral, cherry finish." DTK Reds stand out at the 2023 Trophy Wine Show

In what is known as South Africa’s most stringent wine competition, this year saw a total of only 432 medals awarded to wines with 36% of all entries receiving none. 92 points were awarded to both Du Toitskloof Pinotage 2020, Du Toitskloof Shiraz 2020 and 91 points to Land’s End Cape Agulhas Syrah 2020.

Quest Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022 receives a Gold Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards

Quest Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022 was awarded a gold medal with 95 points and one of only 30 gold medals awarded to South African entries in this year’s Decanter Awards. “...And of the nation’s 30 Golds, Breedekloof was awarded its second-ever Gold (last awarded in 2016) to Quest Wines, Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2022” - Decanter’s official press release by Olivia Mason.
