Every year the Pinotage Association opens entries for the Perold ABSA Cape Blend and Pinotage Rosé wines from South Africa. After taking a position in 2021 as one of the Top 5 Pinotage Rosés tasted in the competition, Du Toitskloof came back this year with their 2023 vintage to claim the coveted position once again.

There are a number of factors that lead to Land's End Cape Agulhas's unique expression of Syrah. The 2020 vintage was recently awarded 94 points at the IWC (International Wine Challenge) with judges describing the wine as "Lots going on with ripe raspberries, red cherry, pepper, mocha, hints of cedar, fine and elegant, integrated tannins with very long, classy, floral, cherry finish." A mouthful of words and wine alike.
In what is known as South Africa’s most stringent wine competition, this year saw a total of only 432 medals awarded to wines with 36% of all entries receiving none. 92 points were awarded to both Du Toitskloof Pinotage 2020, Du Toitskloof Shiraz 2020 and 91 points to Land’s End Cape Agulhas Syrah 2020.
